Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzales is one of the last living legends of the Chicano movimiento -- the founder of Denver's Escuela Tlatelolco, first Chicano to be a precinct captain for the Democratic Party in Denver, author of the classic poem I Am Joaquin, and much more. Corky is on his way home from the hospital, having decided to end treatment for various coronary and renal problems. Given his reputation as a fighter, he'll probably be there awhile. Best wishes to the entire Gonzales family.
